Business Forecasting

What is business forecasting all about? The concept is really the same as weather forecasting; you want to know what it's going to be like out there the next few days. Only with business, you don't just want to know about the next few days - you want to know about the next few years, if you can! There are also a lot more factors than most people worry about with weather.

Watching the weather, most people stop after hearing the expected temperature, or maybe just whether or not the sun will be out. The entire point of business forecasting is to take into account a lot of different factors. Not only do you need to factor in the changes in general business and the economy, you'll also need to factor in the kind of business you're running, the kinds of products you're offering, where you're offering them, and what kind of business you've been doing already.

Lot London

That's a lot to keep track of. When you're trying to predict how a certain product will be received, you can rely on some facts and guess-and-check methods. You can also rely on spreadsheets and other common prediction methods. These can get you some level of success with business forecasting, and some simpler companies may be perfectly content to rely on this kind of prediction. But if you've got a more complex system running, you may want to look into buying some business forecasting software.

Business Forecasting

But what's the point of forecasting software, if you can just use a spreadsheet? The whole point of forecasting software is to save you the trouble of needing to do all the calculation yourself. Not every businessman is also an accountant or math guru, and if you want to keep track of a lot of different data and functions, you may need some help to get you through it. If you've got a particularly complicated pool of data, forecasting software can help you to sort through it more easily.

Business Forecasting

If you have a business, you need to get your hands on some good business forecasting tools. If you purchase some business forecasting software it can save you a lot of time deciding your future finances.

Scotland Weather

Scotland weather is variable across the country. Often you will find that the temperatures in Edinburgh will be several degrees higher than that further north. In fact, you will find that the temperature in Edinburgh alone throughout the year is usually a couple of degrees lower than you would find in the English capital London.

The weather in this part of the British Isles is governed by its location being on a northern latitude. Also the time of year and the way in which the wind is blowing and which sea lies of its coast can seriously affect the kind of weather that it has.

Lot London

Certainly, for those who live on the western side of Scotland they find that they have much more rainfall than the other parts of the country. Although the country does get some sunshine compared to the other parts of the British Isles this is somewhat less.

Scotland Weather

If you are going to be visiting any part of Scotland throughout the year, it is advisable to bring somewhat clothing with you. Although it may be warm during the day at night once, the sunsets the temperatures can decrease quite considerably. Also, bring some kind of rain weather wear, as unfortunately this part of the British Isles is more susceptible to rain fall.

Because of the latitude on which Scotland lays this means that the days during the winter are much shorter compared to those further south. During this time of the year, you can expect only around 7 hours of daylight and because of this, temperatures will usually be around freezing point or below. However, during the summer you can expect on average around 19 hours of daylight.

Widnes Market

Widnes market, to my memory, has always been a thriving market. I remember as a child going to the indoor and outdoor (the old not the new!) market stalls with my mum for whatever bargains were available. Often I have thought of markets as a thing of the past, and indeed they are a dying trade in a lot of areas. But Widnes, for whatever reason, has managed to not only stay afloat but is very much a mainstay of the community.

Selection is nothing short of excellent, with pet stores, carpet and DIY stores, hairdressers and even bodybuilding stores! And for anyone who travels for this market it is plain to see that there are bargains to be had that are pretty competitive to high street prices.

Lot London

Business days are as follows

Widnes Market

Monday - Open

Tuesday - Closed

Wednesday - Open - OUTSIDE FLEA MARKET!!

Thursday - Open, but not a very busy day

Friday - Open

Saturday - Open

Sunday - Closed

Widnes Market is situated opposite Morrisons Supermarket and the Greenoaks Shopping Centre, and is a short walk from both Widnes High Street and the new Widnes Shopping Park.

Most days from 930 onwards Widnes market is busy, surprisingly busy for most of the time, and most of the days it is open. There are a couple of cafes in the market and on busier days (Saturday and Mondays mainly) there are some food vendors who set up selling hotdogs and burgers etc. A nice touch to the market is during festive periods where they set up small rides for children, usually pretty cool ones and not the usual run of the mill rubbish you see.

To end this, I can honestly say that Widnes Market is one of the best, most thriving and busy markets still around and certainly in the region. Highly recommended!

Free Running

'Free running' Parkour is a sport in which contestants try to pass obstacles in their surroundings as quickly and smoothly as possible. Founded by David Belle, its origins are in France and Sébastien Foucan gave it its English name. The game was inspired by the 'Natural Method of Physical Culture' developed by George Hébert in the early 20th century. Raymond Belle, a Vietnam soldier, introduced the game to his son David.

A group called Yamakasi was set up to establish the game, but the members fell out with each other because of disagreements. 'Yamakasi' is a Lingala word, spoken in the Democratic Republic of Congo and it means 'strong spirit, strong body, strong man.' For many, Parkour is an extreme sport while others compare it to martial arts like karate. It is admired as an art of movement or, as the French prefer to call it, "l'art du déplacement". It has a sense of freedom, the ability to overcome boundaries. You could jump from railings, staircases, jump over walls and any other thing that is in your way. Contestants would move from point A to B in a steady and continuous manner. The movements could be forward, over, under, around and through obstacles. These obstacles could be man-made or natural.

London Office

People who practice Parkour are called traceurs or free runners. They could be running, jumping, climbing and using any other complicated techniques. Essentially actions have to be adapted to the given circumstances, so that obstacles may be overcome with human capabilities. David Belle said the "spirit" of free running is directed somewhat by the concept of escaping and reaching. So the contestant has to be quick-thinking and agile to reach the goal, much like hunters of the primitive days. Another well-known traceur Sébastien Foucan remarks on its fluidity and beauty. Jerome Ben Aoues, an experienced traceur speaks about this in a documentary made on Parkour called Jump London. He speaks of the sheer elegance and beauty of the sport.

Free Running

If one thinks about it, we are, naturally, free runners and have been so since our child hood. Have a look at children - they are always bursting out of their confines. As the commentary in Jump London says, "And really the whole town was there for us; there for free running." Many purists do not agree with the outlandish techniques associated with free running.

A traceur would need good running and jumping techniques. Rolling to reduce impact and vaulting to clear barriers could be advantages. David Belle says that efficient movement is the key in Parkour, so flips and tricks wouldn't really be part of the game.

Parkour seems to be getting more and more popular. The British public first saw it in all its beauty in 2002, in the BBC station trailer Rush Hour, as David Belle jumped across rooftops to go from his office to home, to see his favorite BBC program. The James Bond thriller, "Casino Royale" rooftop chase is considered a Parkour sequence. As are certain sequences in the Nike ads. Today the sport seems to be growing commercially and there is training available. But as it is a new concept, it is continuously evolving and changing.

Treating and Removing Stains on Designer Bags

Are you fretting over the offensive stain that has ruined your expensive designer bag? Stains, marks, scratches and such cosmetic damage on your bags must be treated accordingly based on the types of material the bags are made of and the sources of the damage. The most common problems encountered are stains from color being transferred inadvertently from clothes, makeup, food and beverage stains and pen ink marks. In this article, we will share with you some proven tips to restore your bag to its original spotless and immaculate state.

Suede

Examples: Coach Ergo Pieced Suede Tote, Coach Hamptons Suede Hobo & Jimmy Choo Alex Suede.

The majority of stains on suede bags can be cleared using a suede brush. If the stains refuse to go away, try brushing with a suede cleaner over rising steam from boiled water. You can also use a white pencil eraser to rub off minor, dry marks. If yours is a Coach bag, it may have come with a half-pink, half-white block from your purchase. Quite a number of Branded Bags for Less readers have reported it being effective in ridding their Coach bags of ugly stains, marks and even molds from humidity. Simply wet the block and rubbed it gently against the stain.

Note that you should never use stain removers that do not explicitly state they are meant for suede fabric, for they may aggravate the stain and cause irreparable damage!

Leather

Part leather examples: Coach Carly Signature (fabric with leather trimmings), Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas (canvas with leather trimmings) & Burberry Nova Check Shoulder Tote (canvas with leather trimmings).

Full leather examples: Fendi Nappa Leather, Coach Legacy Leather, Coach Carly Leather, Louis Vuitton Mahina, Louis Vuitton Epi Leather, Gucci Leather Hysteria, Burberry Classic Check & Chanel Classic Medium Flap with Gold Chain.

You can apply leather cleaning cream, conditioner or protectant to remove surface grime and scratches, which is also good for moisturizing the leather so that it looks pristine. One highly raved cleaner is the Apple Leather Care line of cleaners which is able to remove many types of stains such as soil, grease, food and excess oils from leather. Alternatively, any leather protectant like Eagle One Nano Protectant also works well. Spray a generous amount onto a dry, white cloth and wipe it on the leather material of your bag evenly.

For stubborn ink marks and stains on leather, use traditional Asian medicated oil like the Axe Brand Medicated Oil or rubbing alcohol available at drugstores. This little-known technique is employed by handbag shop assistants and many Branded Bags for Less readers have also given favorable feedback that it did wonders for their bags. Pour a little onto a dry, white cloth and rub lightly on the offensive mark or stain and it should come off easily.

Patent Leather

Part patent leather examples: Coach Signature Stripe Patent (fabric with patent leather stripe and trimmings) & Fendi Canvas Patent Leather Bag Du Jour (canvas with patent leather trimmings).

Full patent leather examples: Tods Patent Leather Tote, Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis & Coach Patent Zoe.

Of all the varieties of material, patent leather is probably the most difficult to treat. Once color is transferred onto patent leather, the damage is likely to be permanent unfortunately. However, if you discover the stain early enough, it might still be possible to salvage the bag through a non-acetone nail polish remover or Mr Clean Magic Eraser according to some who had tried numerous methods to fix the problem.

Canvas

Examples: Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas (canvas with leather trimmings) & Fendi Canvas B Shoulder Bag (canvas with patent leather trimmings).

Stains due to color transfer from clothes, paper bags and magazines can be treated easily with a white damp cloth or sponge and normal white soap. For food and beverage stains and other stubborn stains and marks, try the Coach Signature Fabric Cleaner which works for other brands like Louis Vuitton and Gucci canvas bags as well. Coach's Official Site gives a quote of $10 for this cleaner. Apply a few drops on a white cloth and wipe the stains off in gentle circular motions. Wipe away excess with a clean white dampened cloth. Some shop assistants and handbag owners also swear by Baby Wipes on canvas.

Fabric

Examples: Coach Carly Signature (fabric with leather trimmings), Coach Bleecker Signature Large Flap (fabric with leather trimmings) & Gucci Babouska Fabric Tote.

Just as for canvas, you can use the Coach Signature Fabric Cleaner which does the trick for other brands of fabric bags too. Coach's Official Site gives a quote of $10 for this cleaner. Apply a few drops on a white cloth and wipe the stains off in gentle circular motions. Wipe away excess with a clean white dampened cloth.

A more economical method which some have used with great success is toothpaste, particularly of the Darlie brand. Apply toothpaste onto a damp, white cloth and rub on the stains in circular motions. Carefully dab off excess toothpaste off the darkened patch and allow it to dry. It works, surprisingly!

Above all...

Always be on the safe side - remember to do a patch test on the inside or an inconspicuous area of your bag first before applying any treatment all over. Do not use detergent for treating your stained bags as it may further damage the finish. Also, avoid contact of your bags with newspapers, magazines, colored paper bags and dark colored cloths during cleaning as color can transfer from these items to your bags in the process.

Violence Against Women in Mass Media

Images of women in mass media have been under scrutiny in recent
decades. At one end of the continuum is print advertisement, brief, often
single-paged combinations of text and imagery to sell a product. At the
other end is pornography, sexually explicit imagery created to arouse in
print, television, film, and the Internet. Where does power fit in between
these? Women in both these forms of mass media are repeatedly
depicted in submissive, silenced, and even victimized roles.
Advertising
is a much more benign means of conveying power over women than
pornography. However, the average American is exposed too much
more gendered advertising than pornography in any given day.
In both,
women are not often autonomous beings but passive and objectified.

The power of imagery is well known. As visual imagery is nonverbal, its
messages are often multilayered and contradictory (Kang 1997). As a
socializing agent, the visual imagery provided by the media can have a
powerful impact on our attitudes, values, beliefs, and behaviors, since it
can contribute meanings and associations entirely apart and of much
greater significance (ibid). Advertisements are everywhere, from
television, in print, on billboards, and so on. Yet decoding each one we
see is near impossible due to the number of ads we encounter every
day.

Feminists have been concerned with the media’s representation of
women for some time, particularly the use of their bodies. Many images
that depict women in sexual positions or just displaying a portion of the
female body may aid in objectifying it. The woman is often the object of a
male’s gaze, and thus assuming heterosexuality (Duggan and Hunter
51). Moreover, she is an object for the viewer’s imagination. This is one
of the ways that power differences are created. There is a clear
distinction in this equation between who has control and who is
receiving it.

Turning someone into an object not only dehumanizes, but it can lead to
justifying violence (communicating gender). It is much easier on most
people’s conscience to hit a punching bag than a person. Images of
women as objects and as the recipients of aggressive behavior do
cause a desensitization of violence (Barker 38). Despite this, very little
violent crime is a deliberate replica of one in the media, not a particular
image. Much of crimes against women mirror many of the messages that
are sent in the media. Oftentimes, these images in advertisements are
glamorizing the gender power relations discussed earlier.

Figure 1 is an advertisement from Sisley retrieved from [http://www.about-]
face.org. Sisley’s advertisements are marketed toward young white,
middle to upper class females reading fashion magazines. The first
thing the viewer notices is the model’s face, bearing a fearful and
frustrated expression. It is well lit in the foreground turning around, with
barely a glimpse of the man behind her. Her hair is in her face as if she
had quickly turned around to see him. The position of her body is clearly
submissive, her hands held behind her back as she lies on the couch.
Her elbow is obstructing the view of the man’s face, thus giving the view
the impression that the man’s intentions are unknown- we cannot see
the expression on his face. While it is not clear what exactly is
happening in this scene, a sense of uneasiness arises.

A power
struggle is used here to sell a name, a name that sells clothing, which is
barely visible here. This hierarchy may help facilitate the perception of
women as targets for violence and aggression. This advertisement
reinforces the stereotype that women can be used as objects not just for
their bodies, but also for their willingness to use those bodies in
demeaning and sometimes humiliating imagery. The look on her face,
the position of her body, and the faceless perpetrator in this
advertisement almost encapsulates the entire notion of the
powerlessness of women as objects.

Katz writes, “the reduction of women to body parts for men’s
consumption can significantly damage a woman’s self-respect” (qt in
Muarianne et al 250). He goes on further than men are not born to
objectify women, but it is a learned behavior, primarily from images of
passive women. Perhaps this lack of self-respect exacerbates the
acceptance of such material. There is no more rampant use of
aggressive imagery than in the pornography industry. Barron et al
examined sexual violence in print media, videos, and the Internet, and
found that the Internet contained a significant portion of graphic and
antagonistic imagery. However, as the violence became more intense,
fewer scenes contained it (259).

Much of the heterosexual pornography in circulation draws on the
conventions of the woman as the object of the male gaze (Duggan 54).
Duggan and Hunter’s book, Sex Wars, critically examines pornography
from both sides of the argument that addresses the nature of the
medium. It must be noted that my interest here lies in violent
pornography and its effects exclusively. The images of women in this
form of mass media are a more intense mutation of the print
advertisements discussed above. “Sexually explicit” often becomes
identified and equated with “violent”. Critically examining pornography
must be done with as much analysis as that of socially acceptable forms
of imagery. Those that contain nudity, nonviolent and non-degrading
material are another discussion.

Although most of pornography is directed towards men, it cannot be
assumed that this is due to greater intrinsic male interest in sex. More
than likely, it is due to the industry’s extreme slant towards the traditional
male perspective. The Internet is the most often used way of accessing
porn, with 12% of all its websites devoted to it
(www.porndestroyswomen.org/). The effect of this form of the media is
ambiguous. Donnerstein found in one study in the “Journal of
Personality and Social Psychology” that erotic materials facilitate
aggression while he found in another study that it inhibits it (qt in Bryant
et al 289). The resolution of this issue apparently concerns the nature of
the material. Sexual violence and unpleasant themes typically facilitate
aggression, whereas, nonviolent, more loving and pleasant "soft-core"
explicit materials may hinder it (ibid). Thus, the topic of censorship is a
hotly debated one with limited research on its effects.

Themes of female subordination, bondage, sado-masochism, and rape
became increasingly prevalent in porn since the 1980’s (Sapolsky). The
rape myth scenario has become rampant. It typically presents the female
in distress but later shows her being aroused. Sapolsky also quotes
research showing that men, who are exposed to pornography
containing rape in which a female victim eventually expresses positive
reactions to the rape, are more likely to accept rape myths (e.g., women
secretly desire to be raped), be sexually aroused to rape, self-report the
possibility of committing rape, see the victim as responsible, and show
less sensitivity to rape (ibid).

Although sado- masochism, bondage, and
rape fantasies are valid and typically innocuous means of sexual
arousal in practice, in print, video, and the Internet, it dehumanizes the
submissive member of the sexual act.

This type of violent pornography is a clear example of power issues in
mass media. Rape is a crime of control and domination. Sexualizing it
with the intent of arousal sometimes encourage the viewer to accept this
type of violence as acceptable. Women in this kind of pornographic
material are dehumanized on a much deeper level than those in
advertisements. As the author of http://www.porndestroyswomen.org aptly
writes, “You cannot simultaneously objectify and dignify women”.
Does imagery of objectified women in mass media directly cause
violence toward women? The answer is an overall no.

Rape and
violence existed long before the media. The First Amendment is the
most often cited reason to not censor such media. Much of the research
of violent imagery in the media shows only a small link between actual
violence and the media. Visual literacy is ultimately what will change the
notions of women as passive objects.

How Do I Make My Penis Bigger? Three Rookie Techniques

How do I make my penis bigger? Considering that I was under six inches long for most of my life, that is a question whose answer I used to strive for constantly. Unfortunately, it took over a year for me to get it through my thick skull that the pills, potions, and gadgets I was using were doing nothing but deflating my wallet.

Once I discovered natural penis enlargement techniques and began making true penis gains for the first time, however, I never spent another dime on that garbage.

Here are three good natural penis enhancement techniques I recommend for rookies. Done properly and consistently, they should add close to an inch to your penis in six weeks.

1. Penis stretches. This one is very simple. Just take your flaccid penis and stretch it as far out in front of your body as it will go. Do it gently and gradually and hold it there for thirty seconds. Rest ten seconds between sets and repeat this at least ten times.

2. Jelqing. This is another great technique for rookies. Get your penis halfway erect, apply lubrication, and grip it tightly at the base with the thumb and forefinger of one hand. Slowly slide that hand up the shaft toward the tip, pushing as much blood into your penis as possible. When you reach the tip, immediately grip the base the same way using the other hand and repeat. Do this nonstop for ten minutes.

3. Ulis. This is a great exercise to increase girth. It is also very easy and does not take much time. Achieve a full erection and grip the base of your penis the same way you would if you were jelqing. Squeeze as hard as you can without causing discomfort. Your penis shaft should swell and your penis head should get big and shiny. Hold for ten seconds and rest for ten seconds. Repeat this three or four times.

Do this routine every other day and make sure you warm your penis up before each workout by wrapping it in a hot washcloth for five minutes.

Always remember, if you are not satisfied with what you were born with, it is never too late to do something about it!

If you want a detailed, step-by-step course on how to put 1-4 inches on your penis FAST, here is a link to the method that helped me gain most of my penis size:

http://www.BiggerPenisNow.info

This is what I personally used to add three solid inches to my length and over an inch to my girth. It is 100% GUARANTEED to add size down south!
